5.1. REMOTE TRANSMITTER INSTRUCTIONS

1. RESET button activates the receiver

and the keypad function buttons. This
button is green with no markings and
functions as the ON button.

2. STOP button switches off the receiver

and the keypad function buttons. This
button is red with an exclamation
point and functions as the OFF
button.

3. DIRECTIONAL buttons move the

hopper in opposite directions as
desired. These buttons are yellow
with arrow symbols.

4. L.E.D. pattern significance:

Blinks when the transmitter and receiver are active.

On when a transmitter button is pressed.

Pulses while transmitting when battery is low.

Important:

Registering more than one remote transmitter to a single Power Swing is
acceptable but registering one remote transmitter to multiple Power Swings is
not recommended.

1. Switch OFF or disconnect the power to the

receiver.

2. Switch ON or reconnect the power to the receiver.

This opens a 20 second registration window in the
receiver processor.

The FAULT LED on the receiver printed circuit board
flashes for the duration of this registration window.

3. Immediately PRESS and HOLD the RESET button

on the transmitter (see Figure 5.2) for a minimum
of 5 seconds or until the SET LED illuminates.

Note:

The FAULT LED lights up first and then the SET LED illuminates. If the RESET
button is released at this time, the SET LED will remain lit.

NOTICE

The transmitter automatically transmits a STOP signal after
30 minutes; this de-activates the receiver and the
transmitter keypad.
