Ridge Planting
To prepare the planter for ridge planting, you must
lower the gauge wheels by inverting the cylinder
mounting blocks.
Refer to Figure 6
1.
Block up the frame to remove weight from
tires.
2.
Remove the four 5/8-inch cap screws.
3.
Invert mounting blocks and reinstall cap
screws. Torque to specification as listed on
the Torque Values Chart.

Ridge Planting Adjustment
Planter Frame Height
Refer to Figure 6
It may be necessary to adjust planter frame height
when leveling the planter.
1.
Lower planter to planting position.
2.
Measure distance from bottom of frame tube
to ground. For proper planter frame height,
distance should measure 20 to 22 inches from
ground.
3.
If necessary adjust planter frame height to
achieve 20 to 22 inches from ground. Remove
bolt, located in lower hole, securing transport
ground tire assembly to unit. Move tire assem-
bly and secure assembly to upper hole using
previously removed bolt.
