Assembly Instructions for the Soil Conditioner

Your semi-mount soil conditioner comes mostly pre-assembled at the factory. To finish
assembly, start by locating your connecting bar bracket [(12) 540-090H] and mount as shown in figure 1
(semi-mount layout). Next find your mounting bracket [(6) 540-084H] and assemble the locking bar
[(15) 540-133D] and pin as shown. Be sure to space them out as shown in figure 1. If assembling with
a ridge splitter see ridge splitter and conditioner attachment layout, and assemble accordingly.
If assembling a soil conditioner only, locate the center turnbuckle mount [(8) 540-086H] on the
frame layout. If assembling a ridge splitter with a soil conditioner locate the center turnbuckle mount
[(1) 540-022H] on the ridge splitter and conditioner attachment layout. Assemble on the Verti-Till as
shown on the accurate layout.
If assembling a soil conditioner only, the slide tube is bolted to the short length. When
assembling the ridge splitter with a soil conditioner bolt to long length. Follow the layouts to complete
the assembly.
