Recalibrating Granular Chemical Meters
If the metering rate differs significantly between rows,
recalibrate the meters.
Refer to Figure 3-4.
1. Remove and empty hopper. Turn hopper upside
down.
2. Turn meter knob (1) to 10.
3. Loosen screws (2) in metering gate.
4. Insert calibration tool (3).
5. Readjust meter setting to 04.
6. Slide gate (4) to tool.
7. Retighten screws. Reinstall hoppers, refill and re-
check chemical-application rate.
