Intercom
The system allows an intercom call between two system devices (either
the telephone base or cordless handset).
Using a cordless handset
1. Press del/int.
• If your telephone system has only one handset registered, the
intercom call will be automatically directed to the telephone base.
• If your telephone system has more than one handset registered,
press / to select the desired handset or select BASE to
intercom the telephone base, and then press .
2. Press to answer the intercom call on the other handset.
-OR-
Lift the corded handset or press to answer the intercom call on
the telephone base.
3. To end the intercom call, press or place the cordless handset in
the charger.
-OR-
Return the corded handset to the telephone base or press on
the telephone base.
NOTES:
1 The intercom call can be canceled before it is answered by pressing or del/int on the
originating handset.
2. If the called handset or telephone base does not answer within one minute, or is busy,
or is out of range, the paging will be canceled.
Using the telephone base
1. Press .
• If your telephone system has only one handset registered, the
intercom call will be automatically directed to the cordless handset.
• If your telephone system has more than one handset registered,
press / to select the desired handset and then press
.
2. Press to answer the intercom call on the cordless handset.
