What is Shared

– 

Device to Device

When you share flight information from one iPad running
Jeppesen FliteDeck Pro to another, the following is shared:

• Origin, destination, and any alternate airports

• Navaids, waypoints, (including user-defined waypoints),

and airways entered into the route description

• Selected terminal charts for the flight

NOTE Both devices must include the terminal chart coverage
area of the selected terminal chart to successfully share the
selected chart.

When you share flight information from one iPad running
Jeppesen FliteDeck Pro to another, the following is NOT shared:

• Highlights on terminal charts

• Rotated view of terminal charts

• Comments associated with a saved user-defined waypoint

Share a Route

– 

App to App

You can import a route from a flight-planning app if it is set up to
share with Jeppesen FliteDeck Pro. To share a route from a flight-
planning app with FliteDeck Pro:

1. Load the route in the flight-planning app.

2. Select the option to share with Jeppesen FliteDeck Pro.

Jeppesen FliteDeck Pro opens and displays a notification
that an app would like to share a flight.

3. From FliteDeck Pro, select Load, Save, or Decline.

• Tapping Load loads the route as the active flight.

• Tapping Save adds the route to the list of FliteDeck Pro

saved flights.
