Motherboard jumpers
The following table shows the factory default configuration for specific motherboard
jumpers. No other jumpers are used. Jumper configurations should not be changed.
Jumper Jumper area Description

JP1
• Clear CMOS and password.
Normal operation = no jumper installed.
JP9
• PCI/PCI-X mode (PCI Bus 1/Slot 1)
Normal operation = PCI mode enabled; jumper installed.
This setting should not be changed.
JP10
• PCI/PCI-X mode (PCI Bus 2/Slot 2)
Normal operation = PCI mode enabled; jumper installed.
This setting should not be changed.
JP24
• Enable/Disable Intel 82551QM/8254OEM NIC chip
Normal operation = enabled; no jumper installed.
This setting should not be changed.
