Removing the Control Panel

1.

 

Remove the front panel

.

2.

 

Disconnect the control-panel cable from the I/O panel connector.

3.

 

Disconnect the I/O panel cable from the connector on the system board. To locate the system board connector on the Dell Precision 650 computer, see

."

4.

 

Remove the mounting screw from the control panel.

5.

 

Lift the control panel away from the computer.

Before you begin any of the procedures in this section, follow the safety instructions in the System Information Guide.

5 screw hole

NOTICE:
