Removing the Fan
1.
Follow the instructions in
Before You Begin
.
2.
Remove the system board (see
Removing the System Board
).
3.
Remove the three M2.5 x 5-mm screws securing the fan to the system board.
4.
Loosen the shoulder screw securing the fan to the system board.
5.
Disconnect the fan connector from the system board connector.
6.
Lift the fan out of the computer.

For replacement of the fan, perform the steps in
