Mulled Cider



quarts fresh unpasteurized

apple cider



slices peeled, fresh ginger, each

about the size of a quarter



whole cinnamon sticks



whole orange, unpeeled, sliced

¼

cup brown sugar

½ teaspoons whole cloves



teaspoon whole allspice berries

Makes 4 quarts

Place all ingredients in the ceramic pot of the Cuisinart

®

Slow Cooker. Stir to mix.

Cover and press the on/off button to turn the unit on. Set time to  hours and
press Low; slow cooker will automatically switch to Warm after cooking time has
elapsed. Strain out orange slices and spices if desired. Ladle into mugs to serve.
