Removing the Display Assembly

 

1.

Follow the instructions in "Before You Begin" on page 9. 


 

2.

Remove the memory module(s) (see

Memory Module

).


 

3.

Remove the WLAN card (see

WLAN Card

).


 

4.

Make note of the cable routing and carefully remove the antenna cables from their routing guides. Pull the cables with their connectors through the
system board so that they are clear of the computer base.



 

5.

Remove the two M2.5 x 5-mm screws from the computer base.

CAUTION:

Before you begin any of the procedures in this section, follow the safety instructions shipped with your computer.

NOTICE:

To avoid electrostatic discharge, ground yourself by using a wrist grounding strap or by periodically touching an unpainted metal surface (such

as a connector on the back of the computer).

NOTICE:

To help prevent damage to the system board, you must remove the battery from the battery bay before you begin working inside the

computer.
