For the Inspiron 1570 model, remove the three screws that secure the USB/audio board to the computer base.

 

15.

Lift the USB/audio board and ease the USB and audio connectors out of the computer base.

 

Replacing the USB/Audio Board

 

1.

Place the USB connectors, then the audio connectors into the computer base.

 

2.

Align the USB/audio board using the alignment posts on the computer base.

 

3.

Replace the screw(s) that secure the USB/audio board to the computer base.

 

4.

Connect the speaker cable to the USB/audio board.

 

5.

Connect the two USB/audio cables to the system board.

8.
