Adding and Replacing Parts

NOTICE:

To avoid electrostatic discharge, ground yourself by using a wrist grounding strap or by periodically

touching a connector on the back panel of the computer.

NOTICE:

To prevent damage to the system board, remove the main battery before you service the computer.

If you ordered an internal card with Bluetooth wireless technology with your computer, it is already

installed.

1 Follow the procedures in "Before You Begin" on page 103.
2 Remove the keyboard (see "Mini-Cards" on page 113).
3 Remove the M2 x 3-mm screw from the card holder and lay the holder aside.
4 Lift the card away from the aligning pin.
5 Disconnect the card cable connector from the card.

NOTICE:

Be careful when removing the card to avoid damaging the card, card cable, or surrounding components.
