Removing the Center Control Cover

 

1.

Follow the procedure in

Before You Begin

.


 

2.

Remove the battery (see

Removing the Battery

).


 

3.

Turn the computer top side up, and open the display as far as possible.

 

 

4.

Pry out the center control cover with a plastic scribe starting from the back of the computer.

 

5.

Ease the center control cover up.

 

Replacing the Center Control Cover

 

1.

Align the tabs beneath the center control cover with the slots on the palm rest and snap the cover in place.

Replace the battery (see

).
