DISPLAY button

Press repeatedly to change the information on the

GENRE button
Press repeatedly to select "CINEMA" or "MUSIC"
sound Held group.

MODE button
Press to select a sound field from the group you

selected.

SOUND FIELD ON/OFF button
Press to turn the sound field on or off.

BASS BOOST button

Press to increase the bass of the front speakers. The
BASS'BOOST indicator lights up when the function is
turned on.

TONE ON/OFF button
Press to turn the tone effect on or off. The TONE
indicator lights while the tone effect is turned on.
Note that if you have adjusted the tone using the
CURSOR MODE button and cursor buttons, the
adjusted tone will be produced whenever you turn on
the tone effect.

'i'' When you want to enjoy high quality sound

Set the SOUND FIELD ON/OFF, BASS BOOST, and the TONE
ON/OFF buttons to OFF to bypass the sound field, tone effect,
and the bass booster circuits. The result will be a two-charmel
stereo sound output from the front speakers that is highly faithful
to the program source.

IT3 The following buttons operate the built-in tuner. For

details, see "Receiving Broadcasts" starting from page
29.

DIRECTTUNING button
Enables Direct Tuning (see page 30).

SHIFT button
Selects a memory page for preset stations.

Numeric buttons (1 to 0)

Inputs the numeric value.
