If reception is poor when you
press TALK, you will hear five
short error beeps. In this case,
move closer to the base unit to
improve reception.

If reception becomes poor during
conversation, you will hear a
beep (the out-of-range alarm)
every second. If this happens,
move closer to the base unit;
otherwise, the call will be
disconnected after 15 seconds.
Note, however, that you may not
hear beeps if it is noisy on the
cordless handset.
Receiving calls

The cordless handset will not
ring on an incoming call if the
RING ON/BATT SAVE switch is
set to ВАТТ SAVE. But you can
receive calls by pressing TALK.

Pick up the cordless handset from the base unit.

Press TALK, and wait until the TALK lamp lights.
You then hear a dial tone.

Dial the phone number.

When you finish talking, press OFF or replace the
cordless handset on the base unit.
The TALK lamp goes off.
Receiving calls on the cordless handset is easy: just pick up the
handset from the base unit, or press any key except OFF ("any key
talk" function).
This allows you to receive calls in any situation (e.g. in the dark).

When you hear the phone ring, pick up the
cordless handset from the base unit.
When the cordless handset is away from the base unit,
press TALK or any other key except OFF.

When you finish talking, press OFF, or replace the
cordless handset on the base unit.
The TALK lamp goes off.
