7. Have the takeup spool ready and check to see if its
top is facing upwards.
Bend the tip of the film leader toward the emulsion-
coated side and insert it in the takeup spool as indicated
by the diagram. Wind the film leader tightly several
times around the takeup spool.

. Place the takeup spool on the shaft.
