H] Turning the Power On
Slide open the lens cover.
• Slide the cover open until you
hear a clicking sound.
^ The lens and the flash is set.
^ The lens is initially set to the
wide-angle position.
• When you close the lens cover,
the lens and flash retract and
the camera turns off.

• Do not press on the lens or the flash.
• Pushing the flash unit in when you take a picture sets
the flash mode to OFF. Take care not to inadvertently
push the flash in.
• If the lens is not set for shooting, check to see if the
battery is loaded correctly. (-»13)
