Use this mode when you

want to take close-up

pictures of flowers and
insects.

The lens automatically

locks into position at

90 mm and you can get as
close to 45 cm/1.5 ft. to

the subject to take a

picture.

Turn the dial to .

• The lens automatically zooms

to 90 mm and locks into

position

• Position the AF frame over

your subject and take the

picture,

• If you are shooting at less

than 1 m/3.3 ft. from the

subject, follow the

instructions given in “Close-
up Photography" (—> 23).

• The lens automatically zooms to 90 mm and locks

into position. You cannot operate the zoom.

• If the green indicator blinks, move away from the

subject until the indicator stops blinking (-> 22)
