iProgram AE
Like the <D> (Full Auto) mode, this
is a general-purpose mode to make
picture-taking easy. It sets the shutter
speed and aperture automatically to
suit the subject’s brightness.
* “P” stands tor Program.
* "AE" stands for auto exposure.
Turn the Command Dial to <P>.
^ Press the shutter button halfway
to focus.

Check the display.
► The shutter speed and aperture are
set automatically and displayed in the
viewfinder and on the LCD panel.
• If the shutter speed and aperture do
not blink, a correct exposure will be
obtained.
• If the shutter speed and aperture
blink, see “Exposure Warning List" on
