Double Exposure
Titles can be double exposed onto scenery shots
by rewinding, and with the use of the fading
technique cuts can be changed through overlap
ping. When overlapping, first fade outabout one
foot of the section to be rewound and then rewind.
Next, shoot the following scene while fading in
and cuts can be changed by overlapping.
Fadings and overlappings are used to show the
elapse of time or a change in scene, for instance,
when the scene on the stage changes at the end
of a theme.
