Use 3/8" drill to enlarge
9/32" holes through
exterior door face ONLY
Fasten tightly with
lockwashers and
screws (provided in
device hardware kit)
thru 2 outer holes in
backplate

Fasten device and
trim plate to door
with 1/4-20 screws
