Important :
Remove the sheet placed between the stone and the body of the appliance before connecting to the
mains supply.

Clean the stone with a damp sponge prior to using for the first time, and place the stone onto the
frame, polished side up.
Place the appliance 20 cm away from any wall or any element sensitive to heat.
Unwind and connect the cable securely: firstly to the socket of the appliance and then to the mains
socket. The indictor light will then go on.
Cooking temperature can be controlled by the switch as per the instructions given in the recipes
below. The appliance is ready to use after approximately 20 minutes.
A small release of smoke is normal when using the appliance for the first time.
Dampen a piece of cotton cloth with oil, and lightly grease the cooking stone before cooking meat,
poultry, fish, seafood, fruit and vegetables…
During cooking, take care not to touch the edge of the appliance.

Do not cook frozen food on the stone, as this may cause the stone to break.
You can switch off the appliance before the end of the meal, as the stone remains hot for
approximately 20 minutes after the appliance has been turned off.

Using


Cooking :

Thanks to this appliance’s adjustable thermostat, you can select the most suitable temperature:

-

180 to 200° C for fillets of fish, or fruit

-

200 to 230° C for thicker pieces of fish, thin slices of meat and vegetables

-

230 to 250° C for thicker slices of meat or for meat which is well-done.


The temperatures are given for information purposes only. You can change them to suit your
requirements.
