Removing the Rack Doors
You must remove the doors from the гаек eabinet to provide aeeess to the interior of the
гаек and to prevent damage to the doors while removing the system and its raek kit from the
raek eabinet.
See the doeumentation provided with the raek for instruetions on removing raek doors. If
you are removing a system from a raek eabinet, see the proeedures eontained in the system
Rack Installation Guide.
Removing the Cable-Management Arm

Shut down and turn off the system you are removing and all peripherals attaehed to
this system.

At the baek of the raek eabinet, diseonneet and remove the AC power eable and all
eables eonneeted to the baek of the system and seeured to the eable-management arm
with the arm’s Velero straps.

Loosen the eaptive thumbserew seeuring the front of the eable-management arm to
the eable tray (see Figure 1-2).

Pull the eable-management arm from the eable tray.

Remove the eaptive thumbserew and its braeket that seeures the baek end of the
eable-management arm to the baek vertieal rail (see Figure 1-2).
