3. Replace the battery cover on the transmitter.

4. Match the collar receiver to the transmitter as described in Section 4.

SECTION 2.
REPLACING THE COLLAR RECEIVER BATTERY

The receiver uses a 6-volt alkaline battery.

1. Use a coin or slotted screwdriver to loosen the battery screw cap on the side of the receiver by turning it

counterclockwise.

2. Install the 6-volt alkaline battery with the positive (+) end closest to the battery screw cap.

3. Replace the battery screw cap by turning it clockwise after the battery is installed.

4. Match the collar receiver to the transmitter as described in Section 4.

SECTION 3.
TURNING THE COLLAR ON AND OFF

The collar’s ON/OFF switch is indicated by the red paper dot on the side of the receiver. It is activated by
the transmitter’s magnet, which is also indicated by a red paper dot.

To turn the collar ON, briefly hold the red paper dot on the transmitter against the red paper dot on the collar
receiver. A slowly flashing light indicates the collar is ON and ready for use.

To turn the collar OFF, again briefly hold the red paper dot on the transmitter against the red paper dot on
the collar receiver. A brief red light indicates the unit has been turned OFF.
