Functional setting operation

(13. How to fix the Rod Clamp)

Insert the Bolt in the clamp setting hole, and fix it by tightening

the Nut and the Washer.

. Hold the rod in position while attaching the clamp.

Tighten the rod clamp nuts to secure.

Use collars only for rods with 25mm or

smaller blank/reel seat diameter.

Attention

- If the Nut is tightened too firmly, there is a danger of deforming the rod depending upon

rod material, especially with composite rods and reel seats.

When using a metal rod butt or fishing for large, hard-pulling fish, always secure the reel with a Rod

Clamp.

(Using the Rod Clamp, it is possible to clamp rods with diameters of 23-34mm)
