The Positioner Joystick (2) now controls the location of
the mosaic image.
If the border is desired to highlight the "anonymous"
area, press the BORDER Button (25} on the WIPE
PATTERN block.
If the Reverse function (REVERSE Button (28)) and/or
the Monochrome function (MONO Button (34)) is added,
more highlight effect can be produced.
A-bus B-bus

After Image
Reset the functions to the factory setup mode by
turning off and on the power of the unit.
Select the same source input for both the A-bus and
B-bus.
Press the STROBE Button (38).
Press the MIX Button (73).
Adjust the TIME Control (39) and Mix/Wipe Lever (99)
to obtain the necessary After Image.
If required, press the A/V SYNCHRO Button (43) to
synchronize this effect to the audio.
Multi/Live pictures mixing
Reset the functions to the factory setup mode by
turning off and on the power of the unit.
Select the same source input for both A-bus and B-bus.
Press the MULTI Button (40).
Press the COMPRESSION Button (71) and Square Wipe
Button (60).
Adjust the Mix/Wipe Lever (99) to change the size of
square picture.
Press the STROBE Button (38). The live picture in
the center of the monitor screen and the multiple still
pictures on the back is obtained.
If required, change the position of the live picture by
operating the Positioner Joystick (2).

Picture-in-Picture
Reset the functions to the factory setup mode by
turning off and on the power of the unit.
Press the Square Wipe Button (60).
Press the COMPRESSION Button (71).
Press the Positioner ON/OFF Button (3).
Adjust the size of the square wipe picture by using the
Mix/Wipe Lever (99).
Press the SCENE GFIABBER Button (4).
The other wipe patterns can be selected by pressing
the Square Wipe Button (60) repeatedly .... circle, oval,
and diamond. Then adjust the Mix/Wipe Lever (99) to
obtain the smaller wiped size.
Note :
Only square wipe pattern in the Picture-in-Picture
mode can be stored to the Event Memory.
H-5. Event Memory accessed by AG-A800
The Event Memory can be accessed by AG-A800 at the
points of DSK IN/OUT set by AG-A800.
Note :
1. Do not execute the Wipe or Mix effects with
transition time under the Event Memory in AB-Roll
Editing.
2. This application can be applied for the NEGA,
MONO, MOSAIC, PAINT, TRAIL and MULTI on the
A-bus in DIGITAL EFFECT block, and also be
applied for on/off of the Color Correction. In this
case, the Assemble Editing should be used instead
of AB-Rolt Editing.
(Example)
• Memorize the MOSAIC on A-bus into Event
Memory No. 1.
• Select A-bus picture.
* Stand by the editing system and select the Event
Memory No. 1.
♦ Execute the editing. At the point of IN of DSK Key,
the Event Memory No. 1 will be started.
Then at the point of OUT of DSK Key, the Event
Memory No. 1 will be finished.
