■ Memory scan

Once the stations have been preset, the pro­

grams of each of those stations can be heard for

several seconds in turn simply by pressing the

memory scan button. This function comes in

handy for checking out what kind of broadcasts
are now being beamed by the memory channels

(1-4).

1. Press the memory select/scan button for

more than 1 second.

The channel will flash and change in order

1 to play each channel for ab­

out a few seconds.

2. When your desired memory channel is dis­

played, press the memory select/scan but­

ton once again.

The previous station will be cleared when the new

station is stored into the same memory channel.

You can skip the unnecessary memory channel

number(s) at your convenience.

1. Turn on the radio and recall the memory

channel to be cleared.

2. Press the memory button.

The memory indicator will flash on and off for

10 seconds.

3. While the memory indicator flashes on and

off, press both of the tuning buttons (+ and

-) at the same time.

The

frequency

display

will

disappear

and

"------ ” will appear instead.

4. Press the memory button.

(Three beeps will be emitted)
