Playing an audio CD
You can listen to the music through the player’s built-in speakers or your headphones/
external speaker system {not supplied) connected to the
PHONES
jack.
The player is not specially designed to be used while walking, etc.
Caution:
•It is not safe to listen to headphones while driving a car.
Be sure the VOLUME control is turned down (set to 2—4) before playing an audio CD.

Notes:
• For monophonic sound sources you do not get 3-dimensional sound effects even
the SPATIALI2ER effect switch is activated.
• It is recommended that the terminator of the player is set to OFF. Power consumption
can be saved (t^ P. 37).
