CD-ROM Tool Kit icon

does not appear when

starting Macintosh.

CD-ROM ToolKit has not

been loaded properly.

Reinstall the software

{(@r P. 12-15).

CD-ROM ToolKit is

not loaded properly.
(When starting
Macintosh, following
icon appears.)

CD-ROM driver other

than CD-ROM ToolKit is

being used.

Remove the CD-ROM driver other

than CD-ROM ToolKit from System

Folder and restart your Macintosh.

Your Macintosh does
not recognize the
player (When

starting Macintosh,
following icon
appears), or does

not function properly.

Your Macintosh is not

setup correctly.

Install the software by using the

supplied Setup disk (osr P. 12—15).

Macintosh is turned on
before turning on the
player.

Turn on the player, then turn on

your Macintosh.

The SCSI cable is not

connected to the player
or to Macintosh properly.

Properly connect the SCSI cable
(ET P. 10, 11).

The SCSI cable pin is

bent or broken.

When using with Desktop Macintosh:

Contact the store which you
purchased the SCSI cable.

There are duplicate

SCSI ID numbers for

devices in your system.

Set a different SCSI ID number for

each device in your system

P. 37).

The player’s terminator

is set to OFF.

Set the terminator to ON
(E^ P. 37).

Check the box next to the

player’s SCSI ID number on

CD-ROM ToolKit Control

Panel is not on.

Open the CD-ROM ToolKit Control

Panel and check the box next to the
SCSI ID number of the player
(0^ P. 26).
