Rear Panel Features

This section details the function of each of the rear panel features on the A360 Personal Mixer.

Stereo Mix Out

Both 1/8-inch and 1/4-inch TRS Stereo Mix Out jacks are provided for simplified connections to earbuds

and headphones. Both outputs can be used at the same time if needed, but note that the impedance of

both devices should be similar to avoid a volume imbalance.

The TRS output may also be used as a line-level output when connecting the Stereo Mix Out to a wireless

in-ear transmitter or a set of powered stereo speakers. A TRS to dual TS splitter cable is required for

this application (sometimes referred to as an insert cable or Y-cable). A splitter cable provides separate

unbalanced TS left and right signals to the inputs of the receiving device.

Do not connect the TRS output from the Stereo Mix Out jacks to a balanced mono input. A

balanced audio input is differential—it subtracts the positive signal from the negative signal

to remove any noise and interference picked up in the cable. The TRS Stereo Mix Out is not a

balanced signal.

Stereo Mix Out

The Stereo Mix Out with 1/8” and 1/4” TRS jacks are shown along with the XLR Mono Mix Out.

Mono Mix Out

The Mono Mix Out XLR male jack provides a one-cable solution to users of subwoofers, tactile bass and

throne shakers, and mono powered speakers. The A360 automatically mixes down the current stereo mix

to mono, so the user need only connect a cable from the Mono Mix Out jack to the inputs of the next

device.
