1.5 KCS Backup Enhancements

It is now possible to recover a backed-up KCS to a different computer. There is a new button in the recovery
wizard, “Restore to another computer”. If you recover to a different computer, KCS licenses will not be recovered!
You need to get new licenses.

There is also new item to recover, TCOSS file structure settings. This does not recreate the file structure, rather,
the information about its structure is written in a text file.

1.6 Remote Viewing of LineServer Trace

LineServer now saves trace information to log files in its flash memory. The Remote LineServer Diagnostics tool
can now display traces interactively or display older saved log files. Serial connection is not needed (but the old
way of tracing LineServer via serial cable is still supported).

1.7 TC/Web: Confirmation of Sent Messages (SPR00069622)

It is now possible to send confirmation messages of previously sent messages. These confirmation messages
include the original message as well as information about the original send order.

This feature is primarily focused on confirming fax messages. Other message types can be resent as well, but
previewing might not work. Also, some configuration options might be only relevant for fax messages.

To send confirmations in TC/Web, go to outbox or archive, select one or more messages and click Send
Confirmation.

This feature is configured via the following registry keys under HKLM\Software\TOPCALL\TCWEB\:

SendConfEnable – If set to “1”, the feature is enabled and the Send Confirmation button and action is added
to TC/Web user interface.

SendConfHeaderExpr – VB Script expression used to generate the text for the message header.

SendConfFooterExpr – VB Script expression used to generate the text for the message footer.

SendConfCoverExpr – VB Script expression used to generate the text for the image overlay of every page of
the message.

SendConfHLNExpr – VB Script expression used to override the text for the FAX header line of the message.

SendConfSubjectExpr – VB Script expression used to generate the text for the message subject.
