turn the power Switch of the tool

off and unplug the tool from its

electrical outlet before installing

accessories.

do not install a circular saw

blade, a wood carving blade,

carving disc with saw chain

cutters, or a cutting-carving disc

on this tool.

each accessory must have the

correct arbor size and must fit

properly on the shoulder

bushing. Make sure accessories

are tightened down securely.

installing the grinding wheel

The Grinding Wheel (Sold separately)

1.

MUST be:

rated to at least 8,000 RPM.

no larger than 7” in diameter.

fitted with a 7/8” round arbor hole.

1/4” thick or less.

suitable for surface grinding, not edge

grinding.

dry and clean.

proven undamaged by inspection and

by the ring-test explained following.

Press in and hold the Spindle Lock

light non-metallic object, such as a

screwdriver handle, at a point 45° from

the vertical center line on each side of

the wheel and 1 – 2 inches from the

edge of the wheel (see Illustration).
Rotate the wheel 90° and repeat the

test until the entire wheel has been

An undamaged wheel will give a clear
