hear, “End of messages.” Select another
option or hang up.
NOTE: Hang up anytime to
cancel Message Playback. The TC-540 will
automatically save all messages, unless you choose
to erase them.

RETRIEVAL
Call the answering machine from most cellular,
pay, or touchtone telephones. After entering the
remote code, the TC-540 will automatically
access messages in MAILBOX 1 unless another
mailbox is selected. To select another mailbox,
press and a mailbox number (2 or 3).

1 ENTER your 3-digit access code
approximately two seconds after the
outgoing message begins.
NOTE: If the
TC-540 does not respond when you enter your code,
try again after the beep.
Your messages will be played.

After message playback, the TC-540 lists the
remote menu. You can select a remote option
for the selected mailbox or hang up to save
messages.

Enter 1 to replay.
Enter 2 to save.
Enter 3 to erase.
Enter 4 to record a message.
Enter 5 to record a greeting.
Enter to select mailbox.
(Press 1, 2 or 3 to
select a mailbox.)
