PAUSE MESSAGE
You can temporarily pause
message playback up to 5
minutes. The TC-540 will
not answer calls in the
pause mode.
2 Press the button of the activated
MAILBOX again to resume listening to
messages.
You have 3 options during pause:
2 Leave the TC-540 in pause mode. It will
automatically reset to answer calls after 5
minutes. All messages will be saved.

Press ON/OFF twice to end pause. All
messages will be saved.

Press MAILBOX 1 , 2 or 3 after
hearing:
End of
messages
If you do not press SAVE or ERASE while
listening to messages or after playing them, the
TC-540 will automatically save all messages.
You will hear “End of Messages” and the display
will show the total message count for all
mailboxes.

You can erase
specific
messages
while saving
others.

Press ERASE while listening to a
specific message.

Press ERASE within 7 seconds after
hearing “End of messages” to erase all
messages.

If you change your mind and decide to
save the message, press
SAVE . On the
display, “Er” will change to “SA.”
