2.3.3.4 System Integration
As the configurations of different computer systems vary, please
follow the manufacturer’s instruction to properly set-up and
configure the computer system.
Color-view™ Installation
Carry out the following steps to install the cables:
1.
ALL unit power switches should be OFF and ALL power plugs
should be removed from the wall receptacles.
2.
The host computer system components must be connected to
each other per the manufacturer’s instructions.
3.
Communications Cabling
a. Connect the R-S232C (Serial) I/O cable (CI) with the
COM (Serial) port of the Computer System Unit and the
I/O port of the Spectrophotometer. The standard
configuration
color-view™ Spectrophotometer system is
supplied with a DB25-9 pin male-female cable.
