Releasing the Drawer

The drawer opens automatically when a

registration is made. In the event of a

power failure or other troubles, the
drawer can be opened in the following

manner.

1) Insert the Drawer Release Key into

the drawer release lock and turn the

key 45 degrees clockwise. The drawer

will now open. (Fig. 1)

2) The Drawer Release Key can be taken

out by returning it to the original

position.

3) When the drawer is closed, it is

automatically locked and will not
open without the Drawer Release Key.

Removing the Drawer

1) To remove the drawer, lift it up by

the stoppers attached on both sides

and pull it out. (Fig. 2)

2) When installing the drawer, fit its

rollers

onto

the

rails

of

the

register and push it all the way in.

(Fig. 2) The coin case can be

removed from the drawer, by lifting

it up at the front.

Locking

Push the Cash Drawer Cover to the

drawer-end plate so that the arrowed
parts of the cover go under and the

rest parts go over the plate.

Press the cover lightly, insert the

key into the key-hole on the cover,

and turn clockwise. Now the cover is

locked.

Opening

Release the lock by the key, and lift

up the cover tip.
