OPENING AND REMOVING THE DRAWER
■ Opening the Drawer {Fig. 8)
The drawer opens automaticaHy when a registration is made. In the event of a power failure or other
troubles the drawer can be opened in the following manner.
1) Insert the drawer release key into the drawer release lock and turned the key clockwise 45 deg.
The drawer will now open,
2} The drawer release key can be taken out by returning it to the original position.
* Removing the Drawer {Fig, 9)
1) To remove the drawer, lift it up by the stoppers attached on both sides and pull it out.
2) When installing the drawer, the rollers on the rails of the register and push it all the way in.
• The coin case can be removed from the drawer, by lifting it up at the front,
REPLACING THE INK ROLLER
When the receipt and journal paper print is too light, replace the ink roller in the following manner.

1) Place the control lock in the LOCK position and remove the stamp cover (see
Fig.
10).
2) Remove the ink roller holder (see
Fig,
11).
3) Remove the ink roll (see
Fig. 12).
When removing it wear a vinyl glove or cover the ink roll with a
strip of vinyl sheet to avoid contact with the hands.
