Installation Instructions

Installation Sheet #INS-12001

1. Fleet Engineers’ AeroFlap

®

is designed to be used

in a shortie application. Molded with an integrated
reinforced shortie mounting location, the AeroFlap

®

can be easily cut down to fit a shortie bracket. The
AeroFlap

®

is universal - it doesn’t matter which side you

choose to cut.

5. Remove the AeroFlap

®

from the bracket, place on a solid

surface and use a drill to make the necessary holes.

2. The first step in cutting your AeroFlap

®

down to a

shortie is to verify that the standard cut described in
these instructions will work with your shortie bracket.
Note: in some instances, the AeroFlap

®

may need to

be cut in a different location to accommodate your
bracket.

4. After the AeroFlap

®

is cut, place into the bracket and

mark the locations of the holes.

6. Once the new holes are drilled into the AeroFlap

®

,

position into your bracket and secure following
manufacturers instructions.
