Simon XT User and Installation Errata
Introduction
This is the Simon XT User and Installation Errata (466-2315) for the Simon XT User Manual (466-2266) and Simon XT Installation
Manual (466-2265). This document includes information on this product that did not make it into the manual. Where information
differs between the documents, this document supersedes the manual.
User manual corrections
The following changes apply to the Simon XT User Manual (466-2266):
•
Page 13: Section on canceling and preventing accidental alarms: The dialer delay range is between 15 and 45 seconds, not 0
and 254 seconds.
•
Page 39: During a two-way voice session, additional alarms will be indicated at the panel immediately and reported to the
Central Station as soon as the session ends.
Installation manual corrections
The following changes apply to the Simon XT Installation Manual (466-2265):
•
Page 7: Table 3. The personal help button’s recommended sensor group should be 06, 07, 01, 03.
•
Page 19: SIA system requirements are the same as the UL system listed on page 18, not page 1.
•
Page 19: The duress/panic code programming is in Table 12 on page 40, not Table 23 on page 52.
•
Page 20: During a two-way voice session, additional alarms will be indica ted at the panel immediately and reported to the
Central Station as soon as the session ends.
•
Page 24: Follow the instructions in Chapter 4 Programming to add the sensors to panel memory.
•
Page 25: To detect if the siren wire is cut (open), Hardwired s iren supervision must be turned on. (See Table 23 on page 52.)
•
Page 30: Powering up the panel. Maximum battery charge current is 45 mA, not 60 mA.
•
