The recoil spring and guide are under spring tension and not firmly attached to the
slide. use caution to prevent injury or damage to the pistol. Wear eye protection.
4. Move the slide assembly forward until removed from the frame.
5. Push the recoil spring guide forward slightly and lift from rear to remove the
recoil spring and guide from the slide.
6. remove the barrel from the slide by pulling upward slightly and to the rear.
