The magazine spring is being compressed during assembly. guard the magazine
insert and magazine spring with your thumb to control magazine spring tension.
uncontrolled release can cause injury. Wear eye protection.
8.6 magazine assembly
1. orient the magazine follower on the magazine spring and insert through the
top of the magazine tube.
2. rotate and depress the magazine follower until seated in the magazine tube.
