About the Animal:

Although

common in many parts of its range,

the Red Fox is seldom observed

because the animal is very cautious of

humans and primarily nocturnal.

Range:

Resident throughout

Canada and the eastern two-thirds

of the U.S.

About the Photo:

The BirdCam

2.0’s built-in flash comes in handy when

nocturnal wildlife visits the backyard.

Photographed by:

Nancy

Davenport with a BirdCam 2.0.

I would have to say, I have enjoyed the Red Foxes that

come every night most of all. When they first showed up, they

were trying to eat birdseed on the ground. Since there were

two youngsters, I decided to add some apple-flavored suet —

the sticky kind — to help them along. —Nancy Davenport
