Information

Configure wired

Select the networking type of your wired connection by pressing the “OK“ button. You can configure the

IP address, Gateeway, Subnet mask and DNS using on screen keyboard.

Configure wireless

Select the “Configure networking type” button and press “OK“ for establishing the wireless connection.

Choose preferable network from an on-screen pop-up menu and press the “OK” button. Follow the further

on-screen instructions.

Settings - Output Settings

Audio

Internet access

Status information about your Internet connection.

YES – Internet available

NO – no Internet connection available

• Wired connection

Status information, Mac address and IP address of your wired network connection.

• Wireless connection

Status information, Mac address and IP address of your wired network connection.

This setup menu provides options to set/change your audio output settings.

(Please refer to Connecting audio section for detailed explanation about the

different audio output options provided with your ECM)

• Volume normalisation (volume adjustement)

When volume normalization is enabled the unit will read the ReplayGain tag in your

audio files and normalize the sound level accordingly. You can choose between

track levels and album levels.

• Audio output

Allows you to select between analogue/SPDIF and digital (HDMI) output. Choose

analogue/SPDIF if you plan to connect the balanced XLR outputs or the digital SPDIF

to your amplifier. Select HDMI if you connect digital to your home cinema receiver

or TV. For best audio and video performance connect your ECM using the balanced

analogue outputs to your amplifier and the HDMI output to your TV. Make sure ana-

logue/SPDIF is selected in this case.

• Speaker configuration

(Only selectable if Audio output is set to HDMI)

Select the supported speaker configuration of your Home Cinema Receiver/ decoder.

Example: If your Home Cinema Receiver supports 5.1 channel and you have con-

nected all 6 speakers you select 5.1 on your ECM. If you use 5 speakers without

subwoofer you select 5.0.

-Dolby Digital(AC3) capable receiver (Only selectable if Audio output is set to HDMI)

Select if you use a Dolby Digital(AC3) capable receiver.

-DTS capable receiver (Only selectable if Audio output is set to HDMI)

Select if you use a DTS capable receiver.

-AAC capable receiver (Only selectable if Audio output is set to HDMI)

Select if you use a AAC capable receiver.
