Fielding Practice
Your JUGS pitching machine can be locked in one position or you can
loosen the vertical adjustment T-clamp which will allow you to tip the pitching
machine up and down.
Grounders
Position the wheel so it points downward. The greater the downward angle, the
bigger the hop will be on the groundball.
Flyballs and Pop-ups
Position the wheel pointing upward. The greater the upward angle, the steeper the
angle of the flyball or the pop-up will be.
WARNING: Keep hands and fingers away from tire side edges of ball
chute. When throwing pop-ups, the operator must wear a
catcher’s mask.
