A.
Install the 1/8” NPT x 90° -4 fitting into the
supplied oil feed adaptor as seen in figure
3-a.
B.
Locate the factory oil passage cover just
above the oil filter on the driver’s side of the
engine. Using a 10mm socket remove the
factory retainers and discard.
C.
Using the new gaskets and 6mm hardware
provided reinstall the factory oil passage
cover and oil feed adapter. The 90° fitting
should be facing the front of the vehicle. (See
Fig. 3-b)
D.
Attach one end of the supplied –4 stainless
steel oil line to the previously installed –4 x
90° fitting and secure. (See Fig. 3-b)
E.
Route the line toward the front of the engine
and up to where it will be attached to the
supercharger oil feed. Using the supplied
cable ties secure the line away from hot,
sharp or moving parts. (See Fig. 3-c)
F.
Cover the open end of the line to prevent
contamination until the connection to the
supercharger is made in a later step.
