BEFORE BEGINNING

Identify and verify that you have all the parts listed. Read

the instructions at least once, familiarizing yourself with the parts,
before beginning assembly. We recommend a #3 Phillips screw-
driver for assembly.

ASSEMBLY

Insert a 5/8" screw (MF006) thru the two 1/4" counter-

sunk holes in the orange slide plate (6011B) and start an oval
nut (5760B), smooth side first, on the end of each screw. Slide a
12" One Track (4212) on to the oval nuts, adjust it parallel to the
long edge of the slide plate, center it end-to-end, then tighten the
screws. There are two 3/16" holes in the slide plate that are not
used. These are for the optional 4912B Jig Bar, which is a steel
miter bar with adjusters that you may get, if desired, to replace the
One Track we supply for this purpose. See fig. 1.

Insert a 1" screw (MF015) thru the 1/4" countersunk holes in

the base (6011A) and start an oval nut (5760B), smooth side first,
on the end of each screw. Slide a 12" One Track (4212) on each
pair of oval nuts until they are flush with, or a little behind, the
front edge of the base. See fig. 2 & 3.

Place the slide plate between the One Tracks and, holding the

two One Tracks against the slide plate, tighten the screws in the
base. The slide plate should slide smoothly and easily between the
One Tracks. If necessary, loosen one of the One Tracks and reposi-
tion it slightly until the desired tightness is achieved. See fig. 3.

Insert a 1/2" screw (MF005) thru the 1/4" countersunk holes

in the fence plate (6011C) and start an oval nut (5760B), smooth
side first, on the end of each screw. Slide the 8" Ultra Track on to
the oval nuts, even with the edge of the fence plate and centered,
then tighten the screws. See fig. 4.

Insert a 5/8" spacer (BUSH004) on the stud of each handle

(5591) and screw the handles to the base (6011A) at the two out-
side corners. See fig. 5.
