With “ZONE2 SOURCE” displayed, turn
<FUNCTION> to select the source you want to
output appears on the display.
Outputting a program source to amplifier,
etc., in the ZONE2 room
(ZONE2 SELECT mode)
• The signals of the source selected in the ZONE2 mode are also
output from the VCR-1, VCR-2 and CDR/TAPE recording output
terminals.
• Digital signals are not output from the ZONE2 audio output
terminals.
• About the MULTI ZONE connections ( page 40).
Press <ZONE2/REC SELECT> to display the
“ZONE2 SOURCE” on the display.
• The “ ” indicator lights.
Start playing the source to be output.
For operating instructions, refer to the manuals of the
respective components.

Remote control unit operations during multi-
source playback
Press [ZONE2] to select “ZONE2”.
Press [ZONE2 ON] to turn on the zone power.
Press [ZONE2 OFF] to turn off the zone power.
Select the input source you wish to output.
When the function is set to TUNER, the preset channel can
be selected using [CHANNEL].
The volume of the outputs of the different zones
can be adjusted with
[VOLUME] .
The ZONE2 volume can be adjusted only when “ZONE2” is
selected at “Power Amp Assign” in the “System Setup
Menu” (
page 54).
Default volume setting:
ZONE2 : –40 dB
The zone volume can be adjusted within the range of –70 to
18 dB.
