Assembling the DR 5-Ton Wood Splitter

Tools Needed:

10mm Wrench

1. Install the Rolling Wheel Bracket onto the rear of the Splitter with two Bolts,

Lock Washers and Flat Washers at the rear and two Bolts, Lock Washers and
Flat Washers on each side using a 10mm Wrench (Figure 3).

Note: Ensure that you install the Tabs of the Rolling Wheel Bracket under the Side

Rails.

2. Slide the Rubber Grip onto the Front Handle Shaft and screw the Handle

Brackets onto the Front handle Shaft until snug. Align the Brackets parallel
to each other (Figure 4).

3. Install the Front Handle to the Splitter with two Bolts, Lock Washers and Flat

Washers on each side (4 total) using a 10mm Wrench (Figure 5).

4. Roll the Splitter over onto the Legs and Wheels.

5. Install the Control Lever Guard to the Splitter with two Bolts, Lock Washers

and Flat Washers using a 10mm Wrench (Figure 6).

6. Screw the Control Lever Grip onto the Control Lever Shaft.

For your own safety, do not connect the log splitter to the power source until
the machine is completely assembled and you read and understand the entire
instruction manual
