Fitting string fuses

Selecting string
fuses Select the string fuses to protect the solar modules in accordance with the module manu-
facturer's instructions or as described in the 'Criteria for selecting the correct string fuses'
section:

max. 20 A per fuse holder
- max. 30 solar module strings
- max. 50 A per measuring channel
- max. 250 A total input current
- Fuse dimensions: diameter 10 x 38 mm

WARNING! An electric shock can be fatal. Danger from DC voltage in solar mod-
ules.

Make sure that both the input side and output side of the device are de-ener-
gised before attaching any connections.
- Never fit or remove fuses while under load.
- All connections must be made by qualified electricians.
- Note the safety rules in these operating instructions.
NOTE! Fit string fuses in the fuse holders according to the number of solar mod-
ules in use.
